 Attention, this is the before pic!     And after, the new kitchen. This kitchen is located on the ground floor of a very very charming little house in the heart of Amsterdam. Mind you, what you see in the picture actually is the entire ground floor, barely 15 square meters... Fortunately this client wanted to add some more to the authentic atmosphere of this house and asked me to make a kitchen "like my Grandma had”. So, no modern stainless steel stove and dishwasher but curtains, old fashioned painting, terrazzo and above all plenty of nostalgic atmosphere. The microwave did find a spot and although the drawers are made of solid wood, the runners are state of the art to make them run smoothly for decades. |
