The goal with this project was to create a big practical kitchen that would look fresh, stylish and clean. The design of the previous kitchen was very messy in the sense that there were far too many lines and little details. This new kitchen really looks very calm and the practical layout and details for storage make it highly convenient in use. Especially with open kitchens it is very important to come up with a laid back design. It is stuffed with the latest in Bosch equipement, the soft-closing drawers and hinges are Blum. All the doors and drawer fronts are covered with HPL in an off-white colour, stylish yet very practical in use. The tops are Granite on the 'messy' side and solid hard maple on the 'clean' side. Both very durable and beautifull materials. All in all, the result looks very classy and at the same time the extra space and all the modern details make it a joy to use. |
